How to apply a Security Rule to a Document

Once a Security Rule is created, it can be applied to a document. Security Rules work at document level, meaning they will apply to all versions contained within it.

Steve at CitylifeBank has created a document called CLB News, that contains a separate version for each month of the year. When he applies a security rule to the document, it automatically applies to every version.

  • Navigate to a Document.

  • Select the ‘Security Rules’ tab.

  • Select a security rule from the drop-down list.

  • Select ‘Save’.
