Assessments: How to add a 'Result'
A 'result' is a pop-up box shown after an assessment is submitted. By default, two results are available - Pass and Fail - but you can add more to reflect different outcomes as needed.
Make sure you have added an assessment module to your page before continuing. If you haven’t done that yet, please follow these instructions first.
-
Select the 'Results tab'.
-
Give the result a suitable name in the 'Result Name' field.
-
Drag the results bar to match your desired pass mark. (note: This will, in turn, update the 'Fail' mark).
-
Select if the result is a 'Neutral', 'Passed' or 'Failed' outcome from the 'Outcome' drop-down list.
-
Enter some text into the 'Result Message' field - this is the text that the visitor will see once they have submitted the assessment.

After a visitor submits an assessment module, a pop-up box (the ‘Result’) will appear.
The result they see will depend on their score - for example, if they pass the quiz, they will see the ‘Pass’ result, as shown below.
