      Videos: Video thumbnail image

      What is a thumbnail image?

      A video thumbnail is a still image that provides a preview image for your video. Your visitors will see this image on your page before the video plays - think of it like a book cover. It can be a useful feature if the first frame of your video isn't suitable

      This feature is available for the 'Play video file on page' and 'Play video file in pop-up' modules only.

      How to add a thumbnail image

      • Create a suitable image, ensuring it uses the same dimensions of your video.

      • Upload the image to your Resources Manager.

      • Select the copy icon for the resource, which will copy the resource URL.

      • Paste this URL into the Thumbnail URL field for the video module.
