Layout Library: Locking Content
Locking content is an invaluable feature when creating a template. It ensures that specific sections remain unchanged, protecting critical elements from being modified or inadvertently altered.
Scenario
CitylifeBank use a template for their Interview Packs. To ensure the packs remain consistent and professional, they don't want the colour scheme or cover page heading to be changed. To do this, they simple lock the contents and settings in the template, so when it's used they can't be altered.
How to Lock a Panel
- Select the panel that you would like to lock.
-
Select the 'Layers' palette found at the top right-hand of the screen.
-
Select the padlock icon.
